Welcome to Close Quarters Boxing Club

 

Owen and Amanda's journey into boxing began in 2009 at Impact Boxing in Cooroy, where they trained under their coach and good friend, Mark Evans. After spending 11 years in Mackay and exploring various martial arts, they discovered that boxing was their true passion. In 2023, they decided to take the leap and open their own boxing club in Mackay, Queensland.

Their vision for the club is to create a family-friendly environment where members of all skill levels can train, grow, and support one another. Owen and Amanda are dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community, where everyone looks out for each other, whether they're seasoned boxers or just starting out.
